About Us

Bloomin' Bo'ness are a busy group of volunteers from all walks of life who look after the flowerbeds and other areas in the town by providing seasonal planting and decoration.

In our current format we've been together for just over three years and we have developed and continue to maintain 12 areas which are in various locations all over the town, plus the community garden at the old tennis court at Bridgeness.

Our main ethos is upcycle, reuse and repurpose where possible and to this end you will find many items all over Bo'ness in our various displays that have been donated to us or made by members of the community.

If you follow our Facebook Page you will be familiar with us asking for items from the community when we need equipment before we buy.

We are currently in the process of securing a premises from the Community Asset Transfer scheme supported by Falkirk Council and in addition to the space providing much needed storage and a workshop we will be looking to offer craft classes and workshops for members of the community to learn various skills in a relaxed informal setting.

We have a few areas in mind for our next projects but we're always looking for ideas and input from the community - the town belongs to all of us, so get involved.
